A hotel is a public building with private rooms inside it. Guests must move freely; guest floors, back-of-house, stores and cash handling must not be equally open. The design follows that line, and it has to do so without making the property feel guarded.

How it works

These sites generally combine guest room locking and in-room safes with access control on staff and service areas, surveillance over entrances, lobby, corridors, car parks and service yards, and intrusion and fire detection sized for the occupancy. Retention is planned around how long a guest incident may take to surface.

Implementation

iSense designs, supplies, installs and commissions the system with the work phased around occupancy, and supports it afterwards through key system changes, staff turnover and refurbishment.
